Maryland Ceramic & Steatite Company, Inc. has manufactured and produced industrial and technical ceramics since 1926. Composition include steatite and corderite formed by extruding, pressing and machining. MCS has became one of the leading ceramic suppliers in the country due to our unique formulations, fast service and delivery and an interest and desire to provide a product to fill a customer need, no matter how large, small or unusual.
With our tool and die shop on sight we can do the design and engineering in short order. MCS houses a complete tool and die making facility, expertly staffed, with our Isopules Type EDM equipment enabling us to machine complex tool and dies. We have the ability to develop new tooling to specifically suit your requirements.
Our quality control staff will ensure that your products are manufactured true to print. MCS provides a wide variety of testing in plant. Inspections are performed before, during and after production, thus assuring that all customer requirements are met or exceeded.
